Shoebox Ministry Work Party on Tuesday, September 21, 2010; from 10:00am to 4:00pm, at the church hall. We will be cutting out simplified skirts for little girls and shorts for little boys. Each article will be placed in an individual plastic bag (kit) with instructions. Once we have all the kits prepared and labelled, we will be looking for volunteers to take some of these kits home, sew them at their leisure, and then return the finished article(s) to Shirley Hardy within a 2 month period. The articles will then be turned over to Canada Comfort Society to be sent to needy children.

On September 21st, if you cannot stay for the entire day, then come for whatever time you have free. You do not have to be a sewer - if you can use scissors and can cut - we need you! Please extend this invitation to your friends outside of the church. Coffee, tea, muffins and cookies will be provided. Please bring the following with you: scissors, pins, measuring tape and your lunch.
