There are many opportunities to become involved in the
worship services at St. John's.
The 8:00 am service is a quiet and reflective service, and the Lay Assistant
assists the Presider in leading that worship service. (Discontinued
until further notice pending September survey)
The 11:00 am contemporary service is always looking for people to assist with
Proclaiming the Word as a Reader, and leading the congregation as
a leader in the Prayers of the People. (This
service is at 10:00am when there is a fifth Sunday in the month).
The 9:00 am traditional service also welcomes new Readers.
All services are assisted by Lay Assistants, and the 9:00 am and 11:00 am
services also welcome Chalice Bearers.
