Parish Profile

The Parish Profile committee is charged with researching and then preparing a document that provides a comprehensive overview of our parish of St. John the Baptist Cobble Hill, serving as a tool for attracting a new minister. It outlines the parish's identity, mission, programs, community, and vision for the future, aiming to attract the right candidate and facilitate the discernment process.   

We ask all parishioners offer this prayer prepared for us by our recently retired rector.

Almighty God, look graciously on the people of St.
John’s. You have blessed and sustained us through the
years. We ask that you continue to give us wisdom, and
to lead us and to direct us, in our discernment for a new
rector. Raise for us, we pray, a priest and pastor who will
boldly proclaim your Gospel, faithfully administer your
sacraments, and serve your people with love and
compassion, that we may continue to grow in the
likeness of Jesus and be a beacon of love and hope to
our community and the world. Amen.
